middle section needs more work
lagging with any progress because just thinking about doing all the in-between frames for this whale makes me groan with boredom, let’s just do it…
still janked, getting there though - it’s almost 8am so I’m gonna stop now!
(not sticking with that dark fill btw, that’s just for now)
yeah, this needs more in-between frames… I guess it looks janky because each frame’s image covers a much larger distance than the smaller things do?
Look at me, learning things.
I spent the better part of an hour earlier pixeling a whale but didn’t like it so I’ve started again! oh yeah and I know their tails aren’t like that… but I think it looks cooler this way B)
experimenting with, uh… colouring techniques I guess? But pixels? I remember a flash series I used to watch, I think it was called tiny plaid ninjas… and the character’s colouring would be left blank (I assume) and then a static image background (of a plaid pattern) would show through. I remember thinking that look was pretty neat, so I tried it out with this shark. It also leaves you the option then of removing the lines and just having a sort of ghost image which I quite like the look of too.
